It is a well organized museum with tons of Materials to watch, but there was no context and no explanation. Absolutely I suggest to everyone to take a guide or it is really difficult to understand it. I found it really boring with small interactive material! Even the listenting pad was bad made and long with small enfasys and too much information, I hope this museum will modernize itself and put more interaction ways to approach us

Is a must visit in the city. The former royal palace is stunning, with beautifully preserved rooms, grand halls, and an impressive treasury filled with crowns and royal artifacts. It gives a real insight into Bavarian history and royal life, and every section feels rich in detail and history. A perfect mix of architecture, culture, and heritage right in the center of Munich.

As a major tourist attraction of Munich, I had very high expectations from this place but only certain section of Munich Residence are worth visiting and stunning. Few sections disappointed. Still the overall navigation was easy and well organised and ticket rates were moderate so I don't complain much. No need to buy tickets in advance you can buy it on the spot and free luggage storage facility is available. free audio guide in English language is also provided.

The Munich Residence is incredibly beautiful and magnificent, extremely vast, and filled with an impressive royal atmosphere. From the exhibition areas with grand rooms, paintings, statues, and luxurious chandeliers to the sections displaying historical artifacts, everything makes a strong impression with its splendor. You should spend 3-4 hours in here if you want to see clearly and slowly everything. It’s located in an area that was a bit hard to find (at least for me). The staff are very friendly and speak English well. The exhibition areas and the theater are not in the same section, but everything is absolutely wonderful.

It's a great palace/museum with a very well thought out tour. The audio guide is well designed, and has got lots of engaging stories. The main tour of the museum is said to take 2 hours, but it took me more than 5 hours. So if you want to meticulously listen to every audio track and pay attention to every detail, make sure to bring snacks, power bars and bottled water to stay hydrated.
